QuietTrace is built to be calm and simple, but support should be just as clear. This page covers common questions about accounts, journaling, sync, export, privacy, and purchases.

We aim to respond to support requests within 2 business days.

1. Account access

If you cannot sign in, first check that you are using the same email address you used when creating your QuietTrace account.

If you still cannot access your account, contact us from the email address connected to your account so we can help safely.

2. Writing and managing entries

QuietTrace lets you create journal entries, add mood and category tags, and revisit your writing over time.

We cannot guarantee recovery of deleted entries, but we will always check what options are available.

3. Sync across devices

QuietTrace syncs your journal across iOS, Android, and the web app when you are signed in and online.

If entries still look out of sync, email support with the affected platforms and the approximate time the entry was created or edited.

4. Exporting your journal

Your words are yours. QuietTrace supports full journal export from the Profile screen.

If export fails, try again on a stable connection. If the issue continues, contact support and tell us which export format you selected.

5. Account and data deletion

You can request account deletion by emailing hello@quiettrace.app from the email address connected to your QuietTrace account.

Deletion requests are processed within 30 days. Before requesting deletion, export your journal if you want to keep a copy, because deleted account data may not be recoverable.

6. Privacy and security

QuietTrace does not sell your data, does not show ads, and does not use your journal content to train machine learning models.

7. Billing and app store purchases

If QuietTrace offers paid features, purchases made through the Apple App Store or Google Play are managed by the relevant store.

Please do not send full payment card details. We do not need them to investigate app store purchase issues.

8. Reporting bugs

Bug reports are most helpful when they include enough context to reproduce the issue.
